Development and promotion of education quality assessment tools for the national assessment systems in the READ countries is the main area of CICED works.

This objective is being achieved through providing countries with tools developed in line with global trends in the field of education quality assessment. The tools are developed while taking into account the possibility of their use at all levels of the educational system, starting from the classroom and ending with the Minister’s office.

CICED on an ongoing basis examines the latest Russian developments in the field of education quality assessment and education management. Cooperating with leading Russian research teams, CICED carries out a full cycle of work on creating and testing the newest methodologies and tools. This includes researching and examining ideas, financing, examining the implementation of developing tools, promotion in Russia and the international space, evaluating the effectiveness of using the developed tools and their implementation into educational systems in the Russian Federation and CIS countries.

The use of high-level educational technologies that the Russian expert community creates is the most significant factor influencing the degree of demand for Russian expertise in the international professional space and the main indicator of its potential.

CICED also provides technical assistance to specialists through training and building up their research capabilities.
