Awarded firm contract to design and conduct an assessment of language and math in three Indian states

Awarded firm contract to design and conduct an assessment of language and math in three Indian
states (Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha) that will be used to cross validate results from the
recent National Achievement Survey (NAS) of grades 3, 5, and 8. The proposed assessment will be
built around the official national learning outcomes for these subjects and the results will be used (i)
to further understand the extent to which NAS provides an effective benchmark for tracking
learning levels and trends nationwide, and (ii) to identify how best to improve the NAS’ ability to
benchmark learning levels.
